These terms apply to your use of thehottubhoudini.com (the “Website”) and to the text message program described in Section 2. By using the Website or requesting service from The Hot Tub Houdini LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Website and service requests
- The Website provides general information about hot tub repair, troubleshooting guides and our parts store. Information on the Website is for general guidance and is not a substitute for an inspection by a qualified technician.
- Submitting a request form or calling or texting us does not book an appointment. We confirm each appointment with you directly.
- Quotes are based on the information you provide and may change after an on-site inspection. We will tell you about any change before doing additional work.
- Hot tub electrical and gas work carries real risk. Please turn off power to the hot tub at the breaker before you open the equipment, and call a licensed technician if you are unsure.
2. SMS Program Terms (text messaging)
Program name: The Hot Tub Houdini service text messages.
What the program is for: Text messages about a service request or appointment you have made with us. Messages include booking confirmations, a request to reply YES to confirm an appointment, scheduling offers, changes to an appointment, and service updates. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.
How you opt in: You opt in when you give us your mobile phone number and request service, book an appointment or otherwise ask us to contact you by text. By providing your number, you agree to receive text messages about that service request from The Hot Tub Houdini. Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of buying anything from us, and you can ask us to contact you by phone instead.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies with your service. You can expect roughly one to three messages per service appointment.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to messages you send and receive.
How to opt out: Reply STOP to any of our messages to stop receiving text messages from this program. After you reply STOP, we will not send you further texts through this program. You may still receive phone calls or emails about an existing appointment.

Carrier disclaimer: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Changing your number: If you change or stop using your mobile number, tell us so we can update our records and stop texts to the old number.
Information sharing: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See Section 3 of our Privacy Policy.
3. Appointments, cancellations and payment
- Please tell us as early as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Invoices are issued after service. Payment is due as stated on the invoice. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout or on the invoice.
- Parts sold through the Website are subject to the product descriptions and prices shown at the time of purchase.
4. Warranty and limitation of liability
Warranty terms, if any, are stated on your invoice or service agreement. To the fullest extent allowed by Florida law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the Website, from our information, or from work performed by us, beyond the amount you paid us for the specific service in question.
5. Intellectual property
The Website, its text, images, logo and guides belong to The Hot Tub Houdini or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell or republish our content without our written permission.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Website, including by submitting false information, attempting to access systems you are not authorized to use, or automating requests to our forms.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the Website or the text program after an update means you accept the updated terms. You can always stop texts by replying STOP.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction in Florida.
